Pieces of work speak their own language. And that’s good, because they usually exist independently of their creators.
I myself am frequently excited and sometimes surprised when they become visible and perceptible as human beings. What kind of attitude do they have, what kind of context turned out to be fertile ground for their work? That is why I rejoice over people who conversely are interested in me as a perceiving, metabolizing, talking, feeling and breathing being.
