In the summer semester of 2026, I will be standing in for Prof. Daniel Utz with a seminar on the topic of ‘visual thinking’ in the master’s programme strategic design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (University of Design) in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. The subject of this seminar will be pictographic communication. Specifically, it will involve translating package inserts for various medicines into TUQTULI. The resulting works will be exhibited in the summer as a WDC campus project at the Museum Angewandte Kunst (Museum of Applied Arts) in Frankfurt.
Frankfurt am Main is this year’s World Design Capital 2026, WDC. As part of this, I have been invited to host a dialogue workshop at the Museum Angewandte Kunst (Museum of Applied Arts) on 6 May 2026 and to set up a WDC campus project in the run-up to this event. My TUQTULI project is definitely a perfect fit for their motto ‘design for democracy’.
Recently I gave an »old masters, young masters« upcycling workshop as part of an event organised by the Müll-Museum (Waste Museum) at the Gesundbrunnen-Center in Berlin.
This year, I am once again a member of the organising team for the Interdisciplinary Pfingsttagung (Whitsun Conference), which will take place at the end of May.
