The photographer Hugo Schöttle once said that in the field of photography, a copy is considered to be an »original«. Meanwhile, in the digital age, a copy on paper, produced with a photocopier, feels quite like an original. In case there was never any master, or in case of masters having been moved on the glass of the Xerox machine, any result of the copying process may justifiably be called »an original«. One of a kind.
