  Carlsen had the good idea to edit my »[Genesis](https://www.juligudehus.net/en/genesis)« in a landscape format, with four instead of eight lines per page. They kept the multilingualism of the [Lars Müller edition](https://www.juligudehus.net/en/genesis-lars-muller-edition).

 

Gudehus used internationally recognizable [pictograms](https://www.juligudehus.net/en/signs-of-life-method-workshop), but also well-known commercial logos to render flora and fauna. With that, her pictographical bible translation becomes a witty cultural critique as well: the animals and plants from brand logos are as »natural« to us as God’s creation.
